With the cold winters, and lack of ocean throughout much of our region, it is understandable that many Canadians just need to get away, and want to lay on a beach somewhere. Whether you are looking for a longer term stay in a destination where you can get out and explore, and experience the local culinary scene at an EP resort, or perhaps you would rather an all inclusive stay where all your needs will be taken care of without much planning, I can help you wade through the unending options of destinations and resorts that will be the best fit for you. Options abound for high end luxury, Adults Only, family resort complexes, boutique resorts, and everything in between. 

Adventure Travel

In our hectic, tech-driven lives, many of us yearn for an escape – a return to nature and a more tranquil experience. Why not consider a guided tour? Many Adventure trips focus on sustainable travel, taking us to more remote regions, and taking us back to our roots. Just watch a movie like Paddington Bear, and you will long to take a trip to the Amazon. I recently did a tour through the Costa Rican rainforest, and it was truly an adventure of a lifetime, giving me in depth insight into the flora and fauna and it's evolution over centuries. We also got a great education into the need for sustainability. It gives you an amazing perspective of the world we live in! There are also options for cultural enrichment, where the guide will give you an in depth look at the regions you visit, and explain historic significance of landmarks along the way.

This is where I will work alongside you to create the itinerary you didn't think existed. I will utilize my supplier partners and industry relationships to create your dream holiday, whether its a bucket list trip, or trying to piece together your own trip on a budget. 

How I Got Started

I was a travel advisor in the 90's. I had my family, and decided to stay home to care for my young children. When it came time to re-enter the workforce full time, I mistakenly saw the onslaught of online booking capabilities, and thought the days of booking with a 'travel agent' were coming to an end. I went through many careers, and when my children got a bit older we started traveling. 

My eyes were opened wide when I saw how much there was to navigate online! The tools I had access to back in the day were nowhere to be found, and the landscape of booking online, even for an experienced 'agent' were overwhelming. I went to a travel advisor right away, and booked all of our family vacations through her, utilizing her knowledge and expertise in helping us narrow the possibilities. She then did exactly as I had, and left the industry to care for her children. What would I do now? The service she offered was above and beyond, just how I had serviced my clients back in the day.

Lo and behold I decided it was time I returned to my favourite career, my passion--Travel! I have spent the last 8 years relearning everything as the industry has changed a lot. I spend a significant amount of time traveling to various destinations, and taking part in many types of travel - some out of my comfort zone (Hello Hiking in Costa Rica!), to be able to give my clients firsthand knowledge and information that will result in their own ultimate vacation experiences.

Princess Cruise with Pre and Post FIT

This was one of those once-in-a-lifetime trips where we truly tried to experience it all. Traveling with our three boys—now grown—made it even more meaningful, creating memories I know we’ll carry with us forever.


We began with a whirlwind day in Paris, just enough to feel its magic, before heading to Barcelona for a few days of vibrant culture, iconic sights, and an unforgettable day trip to nearby Girona. From there, we boarded the Sun Princess for a spectacular Mediterranean sailing, effortlessly connecting us to some of Europe’s most sought-after destinations.


We ended our journey with three incredible days in Rome—immersing ourselves in its ancient history, wandering through its timeless streets, and truly savouring the flavours of Italy.


It was the perfect blend of energy, culture, and connection… and without a doubt, one of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever experienced.

Having sailed the Caribbean many times, I didn’t expect this trip to feel entirely new — but from the moment I stepped onboard Valiant Lady, I knew this experience was something different.


There was a familiar sense of excitement — the anticipation of setting sail and exploring new destinations — but that’s where the similarities ended. Virgin Voyages has reimagined what cruising can feel like, creating an adults-only environment that is both elevated and unexpectedly playful.


What surprised me most was how transformative the experience felt in such a subtle way. It allowed me to tap into a sense of pure joy — the kind you feel as a child — but through an adult lens. There was a freedom in it… a chance to be carefree, to fully enjoy the moment, and to connect with others who share that same energy and appreciation for life.


One of my most memorable moments happened off the ship, during our stop in Costa Maya. We visited the breathtaking Laguna de los Siete Colores (Lagoon of Seven Colors) in Bacalar — a destination I had long dreamed of experiencing. Its surreal shades of blue and tranquil beauty made it feel almost otherworldly, and it quickly became a highlight of the entire trip.


What I didn’t expect was just how much I would enjoy this journey. It felt whimsical, freeing, and refreshingly different — paired with Virgin Voyages’ exceptional culinary experiences, vibrant atmosphere, and truly unique entertainment.


This wasn’t just another Caribbean cruise — it was a reminder that travel can still surprise you, even in places you think you already know.

Natural Highlights of Costa Rica - Exodus Travels

Jungles, mountains, and coast — Costa Rica is nature at its most alive

Costa Rica is often described as a natural paradise, but experiencing it firsthand is something else entirely. Surrounded by lush jungle, towering mountains, and endless coastline, I felt more connected to nature here than anywhere I’ve ever been.


With nearly six percent of the world’s plant and animal species found within its borders, the biodiversity is extraordinary — vibrant, alive, and ever-present. From the sounds of the jungle to flashes of colour overhead from the hundreds of bird species, every moment feels immersive and unforgettable.


What made this trip especially meaningful — and truly transformative — was stepping outside of my comfort zone. From hiking through dense jungle trails to soaring above the canopy on a zipline, these were experiences I wouldn’t typically gravitate toward, yet they became the most impactful. The ziplining, in particular, was a highlight: exhilarating, breathtaking, and a moment where I felt completely free.


This journey wasn’t just about the destination — it shifted something in me. It deepened my appreciation for the natural world and reminded me how powerful it is to try something new, embrace a different side of yourself, and reconnect in a more meaningful way.
